Jill Dews, M.A., CCC-SLP

Jill Dews founded Let’s Talk Speech and Language Therapy in 2002 with a clear mission: to give children in Mission Viejo and surrounding communities access to high-quality early intervention services. With more than two decades of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Jill has dedicated her career to helping children build stronger communication skills and greater confidence.

Before opening her private practice, Jill worked within the Capistrano Unified School District, supporting a wide range of special education classrooms and collaborating with families, teachers, and other specialists. She earned her Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach in 2000, bringing both academic expertise and hands-on clinical experience to her practice.

Most recently, Jill expanded her commitment to early intervention by creating the Let’s Talk Early Intervention App, available on the Apple App Store, giving parents and caregivers tools to support speech and language development at home.

What can I do at home to help my toddler talk?

You can support your toddler’s speech by talking to them often, reading together daily, and modeling simple words during play. How behind is my child’s speech?
